Yippee! I'm going to see my kids. I'm soooo excited. It's amazing to me how much I love these guys. When my daughter was born I remember thinking that I couldn't ever love someone as much as I loved her. Of course, as mothers know, our hearts can love so much. I felt the same way when my son was born. Then, SURPRISE! my grandchildren come along and I find that it happens all over again!
So, as luck would have it, I'm actually going to be there for Mother's Day. I love to do art projects with the kids, so (shhhh! don't tell Mom!) we'll make some cool things for her.
It is so much fun to be a grandma! When I was a young mother, I had my priorities upside down.
Now I know better.
